Science Questions:
1. Of all the spacecraft humans have developed which one has traveled the furthest?
Voyager 1
2. What are the 6 lines of our cosmic address?
Earth
Solar System
Milky Way Galaxy
Local Group
Virgo Supercluster
Observable Universe
3. Why were Giordano Bruno's ideas so controversial?
Bruno's ideas were so controversial because his ideas were not correct/possible compared to the churches beliefs back then. He talked about different worlds that God, the creator, made which is impossible according the churches beliefs back then.
4. According to the cosmic calendar, how long ago did we begin to use science to reveal natures secrets and her laws?

Catalyst 10
Dear Mom and Dad,
I'm looking forward to you coming to my science design fair on December 17th from 1:40 to 2:10.
My group and I are working on an invention that is answering our driving question- "How can we save our world?". We created an invention to help prevent people from dying because of tornadoes. Our designs will be set up in our core classes and I will give you further information next week.

I would like tonight, to share with you what our group has come up with so far. I would love to hear your feedback and share it with my group.. My teacher has asked me to have you write me back on an EMAIL so I can provide the feedback we discuss with my group. I value your opinion because you have lived MUCH longer than I have and experienced MUCH more than I have.
I love you and so looking forward to you coming.
Your Son,
Johan

Proving Similarity
I think that Triangle B is similar to Triangle C because of two reasons: the angles are the same and the sides are proportional.
Since Triangle B is similar to Triangle A, the angles must be the same even though the side lengths are different. Same with Triangle C, since Triangle C is similar to Triangle A, the angles must be similar too. So Triangle A, B, and C's angles are all the same. I checked this by making up angles. I looked at the corresponding angles for all three shapes and found that they were all the same.
For the side lengths, I made some up myself. The side lengths for the triangles are shown below in the image. I found that Triangle B's side lengths were proportional to Triangle A's side lengths and Triangle C's side lengths were proportional to Triangle A's lengths. This means that Triangle B's length is proportional to Triangle C's length, making them similar. I made sure that this was correct by comparing corresponding sides from all three sides. I found that all of the corresponding sides were proportional to each other. I also found that there was a scale factor for all the triangle relationships providing more evidence that Triangle B is similar to Triangles C.

PE
1. Describe the situation (only use first names to ensure confidentiality)
There was this person I knew who was constantly being annoying to me on purpose.
2. Describe how you were feeling about this situation and the outcome you desired
Every time this person would annoy me, I would get the annoying feeling that would build up every time he annoyed me. The outcome I desired was for this person to stop annoying me and realize that this wouldn't do themself any good.
3. Identity the strategy you used
The strategy I used was approach the person in a confident manner.
4. Describe the reaction/outcome from whom you were communicating with
One day, I approached this person in a confident manner and explained how this person was annoying me and how I wanted it to stop.
5. Was the stretegy successful? If not, what would you try next time?
This strategy was successful because the next day, this person stopped annoying me. I recommend this strategy because when you approach a person confidently, it makes you look more strong and powerful than the other person which can motivate the person to stop what they are doing to you. If you were to approach a person in a cowardly way, they wouldn't believe you or think about what you said as much as if you were to approach them in a confident way.
