This is a map of the Philippines. This map only shows significant earthquakes recorded from 1900 through early 2014. As you can see, there are many dots on the map, this is because the dots represent earthquakes and the colors of the dots represent the magnitude of the earthquakes. The brighter blue dots represent magnitude 5 or 6 earthquakes while the darker blue dots represent magnitude 8 or 9 earthquakes. Looking at the map, you can see that the Philippines has lots of significant earthquakes.

PE

1. Describe the situation (only use first names to ensure confidentiality)
There was this person I knew who was constantly being annoying to me on purpose.

2. Describe how you were feeling about this situation and the outcome you desired
Every time this person would annoy me, I would get the annoying feeling that would build up every time he annoyed me. The outcome I desired was for this person to stop annoying me and realize that this wouldn't do themself any good.

3. Identity the strategy you used
The strategy I used was approach the person in a confident manner.

4. Describe the reaction/outcome from whom you were communicating with
One day, I approached this person in a confident manner and explained how this person was annoying me and how I wanted it to stop.

5. Was the stretegy successful? If not, what would you try next time?
This strategy was successful because the next day, this person stopped annoying me. I recommend this strategy because when you approach a person confidently, it makes you look more strong and powerful than the other person which can motivate the person to stop what they are doing to you. If you were to approach a person in a cowardly way, they wouldn't believe you or think about what you said as much as if you were to approach them in a confident way.
